Relaxing into Anarchy
With support and practice, it becomes possible to relax, let go and discover that we don’t need to try to control life. Life has its own intelligence. Through our dedicated practice over time, we come to discover we, too, can enjoy anarchy — “the art of relating freely as equals.” Sounds good? Why not see for yourself!
In this morning session, we have time to connect with each other, share a little of our stories if we wish and enjoy powerful techniques that you can incorporate into your daily life. The second part of the session (the techniques) will be recorded so you can return again and again to feel deeply supported as you explore these practices of freedom.
The session is just £25. If you are on a low income and would find this an obstacle, please get in touch. And if you are on a comfortable income and would like to support others, that is also an option.
The course is open to activists, anarchists, and anyone who wants to support the transformation of our society by opening to transformation ourselves. Could one happen without the other?
Vishwam Heckert, PhD will be holding the space and sharing meditative and breathing techniques to help regulate your nervous system and find a natural sense of peace and ease with life — even under challenging circumstances. He is a member of the Anarchist Studies Network, the Spiritual Action Initiative and the Independent Yoga Network. Vishwam has written widely on anarchist ideas in connection with our relationships, emotions and every day life. He is also an experienced yoga teacher and heart meditation facilitator & trainer.
