Join Vishwam and friends for a special opportunity to gently release stress and relax and enjoy being your natural self.
Growing up in a culture that expects us all to be the same can be hard. Unlearning habits of self-judgement & stress can help us open up to the peace and joy which is at the heart of all — just sometimes a bit buried. Through heart-felt practice overtime, all that can be washed away and you can enjoy simply being yourself — just as you are.
Together we will enjoy simple and scientifically proven techniques to release stress. You can incorporate these into the rhythm of your day, helping you to handle with greater ease and peace the stresses and strains of daily life.
The event includes time for tea and chat at the end.
No experience or special clothing is required, though you might want to wear something loose and comfortable. We'll be practising deep relaxation together so please bring a yoga mat or similar and a nice warm blanket to cosy up under. If you prefer, you can also practice sitting in a chair.
Everyone is welcome. The event is by donation - please give what is comfortable for you. Half of the proceeds go to support Pride Shetland and the other half support our work to help regenerate lives.
Places are limited. Advanced booking is a good way to avoid disappointment.
